CD18 antibody [YFC118.3] (Low endotoxin, azide free)
|Applications||FACS, IHC-Fr, IP, Functional Assay|
|IHC (Frozen sections)||1/1,000-1/5,000*
| Immunoprecipitation||Assay-dependent dilution
| Functional Assay||Assay-dependent dilution
Flow cytometry/FACS : Use 10μl of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100μl.Not tested in other applications.
IHC (Frozen sections) : The epitope recognised by this antibody is reported to be sensitive to formaldehyde fixation and tissue processing. We recommends the use of acetone fixation for frozen sections.
*Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher.

|Purification||Protein G purified|
|Full Name||integrin subunit beta 2|
|Product Description||Rat monoclonal antibody [YFC118.3] to CD18|
|Background||This gene encodes an integrin beta chain, which combines with multiple different alpha chains to form different integrin heterodimers. Integrins are integral cell-surface proteins that participate in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signalling. The encoded protein plays an important role in immune response and defects in this gene cause leukocyte adhesion deficiency. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. |Specificity||Clone YFC118.3 is a strong reactivity with Leucocytes (platelets negative).|
|Species Reactivity||Human, Dog, Guinea pig|
