|Full Name||carboxypeptidase, vitellogenic-like|
|Product Description||Rabbit polyclonal antibody to CPVL (carboxypeptidase, vitellogenic-like)|
|Background||The protein encoded by this gene is a carboxypeptidase and bears strong sequence similarity to serine carboxypeptidases. Carboxypeptidases are a large class of proteases that act to cleave a single amino acid from the carboxy termini of proteins or peptides. The exact function of this protein, however, has not been determined. At least two alternatively spliced transcripts which encode the same protein have been observed. [provided by RefSeq]|
|Synonyms||HVLP antibody, MGC10029 antibody, CPVL antibody, VCP-like protein antibody, vitellogenic carboxypeptidase-like protein antibody, probable serine carboxypeptidase CPVL antibody, "carboxypeptidase, vitellogenic-like antibody"|
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human CPVL. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
|Predict Reactivity Note||Chimpanzee (98%)|
