|Full Name||dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase|
|Product Description||Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to DPYD (dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase)|
|Background||The protein encoded by this gene is a pyrimidine catabolic enzyme and the initial and rate-limiting factor in the pathway of uracil and thymidine catabolism. Mutations in this gene result in dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase deficiency, an error in pyrimidine metabolism associated with thymine-uraciluria and an increased risk of toxicity in cancer patients receiving 5-fluorouracil chemotherapy. [provided by RefSeq]|
|Synonyms||DHP antibody, DHPDHASE antibody, DPD antibody, MGC132008 antibody, MGC70799 antibody, DPYD antibody, dihydrouracil dehydrogenase antibody, dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase [NADP+] antibody, dihydrothymine dehydrogenase antibody, dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase antibody|
|Cellular Localization||Cytoplasm |
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human DPYD. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
