|Full Name||neutral sphingomyelinase (N-SMase) activation associated factor|
|Product Description||Rabbit polyclonal antibody to FAN (neutral sphingomyelinase (N-SMase) activation associated factor)|
|Background||This gene encodes a WD-repeat protein that binds the cytoplasmic sphingomyelinase activation domain of the 55kD tumor necrosis factor receptor. This protein is required for TNF-mediated activation of neutral sphingomyelinase and may play a role in regulating TNF-induced cellular responses such as inflammation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.|
|Synonyms||FAN antibody, NSMAF antibody, protein FAN antibody, factor associated with N-SMase activation antibody, factor associated with neutral sphingomyelinase activation antibody, neutral sphingomyelinase (N-SMase) activation associated factor antibody|
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human FAN. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
