|Full Name||serine/threonine kinase 11|
|Product Description||Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to LKB1 (serine/threonine kinase 11)|
|Background||This gene, which encodes a member of the serine/threonine kinase family, regulates cell polarity and functions as a tumor suppressor. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by the growth of polyps in the gastrointestinal tract, pigmented macules on the skin and mouth, and other neoplasms. Alternate transcriptional splice variants of this gene have been observed but have not been thoroughly characterized. [provided by RefSeq]|
|Synonyms||hLKB1 Antibody , STK11 Antibody , serine/threonine kinase 11 Antibody , PJS Antibody|
|Cellular Localization||Nucleus , Cytoplasm |
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human LKB1. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Species Reactivity||Human, Mouse|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
