|Full Name||melanin-concentrating hormone receptor 1|
|Product Description||Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to MCH-1R|
|Background||The protein encoded by this gene, a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family 1, is an integral plasma membrane protein which binds melanin-concentrating hormone. The encoded protein can inhibit cAMP accumulation and stimulate intracellular calcium flux, and is probably involved in the neuronal regulation of food consumption. Although structurally similar to somatostatin receptors, this protein does not seem to bind somatostatin. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]|
|Synonyms||SLC-1 Antibody , GPR24 Antibody , SLC1 Antibody , MCH1R Antibody , melanin-concentrating hormone receptor 1 Antibody , MCHR1 Antibody|
|Specificity||Human MCHR1. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins.|
|Immunogen||MCHR1 antibody was raised against synthetic 20 amino acid peptide from N-terminal extracellular domain of human MCHR1. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Mouse (85%).|
|Epitope||N-terminal extracellular domain of human|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
