|Full Name||myotubularin related protein 2|
|Product Description||Rabbit polyclonal antibody to MTMR2 (myotubularin related protein 2)|
|Background||This gene is a member of the myotubularin family. The encoded protein possesses phosphatase activity towards phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate and phosphatidylinositol-3,5-bisphosphate. Mutations in this gene are a cause of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 4B, an autosomal recessive demyelinating neuropathy. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]|
|Synonyms||CMT4B antibody, CMT4B1 antibody, KIAA1073 antibody, MTMR2 antibody, myotubularin-related protein 2 antibody, myotubularin related protein 2 antibody|
|Cellular Localization||Cytoplasm , Membrane; Peripheral membrane protein |
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the C-terminus region of human MTMR2. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
