|Full Name||monoglyceride lipase|
|Product Description||Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to Monoglyceride lipase (monoglyceride lipase)|
|Background||Monoglyceride lipase (MGLL; EC 184.108.40.206) functions together with hormone-sensitive lipase (LIPE; MIM 151750) to hydrolyze intracellular triglyceride stores in adipocytes and other cells to fatty acids and glycerol. MGLL may also complement lipoprotein lipase (LPL; MIM 238600) in completing hydrolysis of monoglycerides resulting from degradation of lipoprotein triglycerides (Karlsson et al., 2001 [PubMed 11470505]).[supplied by OMIM]|
|Synonyms||HU-K5 antibody, HUK5 antibody, MAGL antibody, MGL antibody, MGLL antibody, monoglyceride lipase antibody, monoacylglycerol lipase antibody, lysophospholipase homolog antibody|
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human Monoglyceride lipase. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Species Reactivity||Human, Mouse, Rat|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
|Predict Reactivity Note||Pig (91%), Bovine (90%)|
