Multiple Species Tissue Array - Spleen
|Product Description||Paraffin Tissue Array - Spleen (Muliple Species)|
|Background||The Multiple Species Tissue Array (MSTA) slides were designed to study protein expression patterns in different cells and tissues from multiple species. Tissue slices from three different species are mounted on each MSTA slide which can then be treated as a single histological slide for H&E staining, immunohistochemistry, or in situ hybridization. This format allows a rapid analysis of protein expression and localization across different species. MSTA slides can also be used to quickly determine the species reactivity of a given antibody.|
GeneTex’s contain 5 μm sections of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues (up to 1 cm x 1 cm) affixed to positively charged glass slides. The same type of tissues from 3 different species (Human, Mouse, and Rat) are arrayed on slides from left to right. Tissue diagnosis was performed by certified pathologists.
|Application Note||GeneTex's human can be used with any antibody shown to be effective in formalin-fixed tissue using a standard immunostaining protocol. In order to avoid false negative results from DNA or RNA sequences not being present in a 4 µm cellular cross-section, 10 µm tissue sections are recommended. 10 µm single are available upon request. This product has not been evaluated for effectiveness in ISH or FISH applications.|
|Storage instruction||Stable for up to two years when stored in a cool, dry lab area.|
