|Full Name||NIMA (never in mitosis gene a)-related kinase 3|
|Product Description||Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to NEK3 (NIMA (never in mitosis gene a)-related kinase 3)|
|Background||This gene encodes a member of the NimA (never in mitosis A) family of serine/threonine protein kinases. The encoded protein differs from other NimA family members in that it is not cell cycle regulated and is found primarily in the cytoplasm. The kinase is activated by prolactin stimulation, leading to phosphorylation of VAV2 guanine nucleotide exchange factor, paxillin, and activation of the RAC1 GTPase. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.|
|Synonyms||HSPK36 antibody, MGC29949 antibody, NEK3 antibody, HSPK 36 antibody, glycogen synthase A kinase antibody, serine/threonine-protein kinase Nek3 antibody, hydroxyalkyl-protein kinase antibody, phosphorylase B kinase kinase antibody, nimA-related protein kinase 3 antibody, never in mitosis A-related kinase 3 antibody, NIMA (never in mitosis gene a)-related kinase 3 antibody|
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human NEK3. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
