|Full Name||sarcoglycan, epsilon|
|Product Description||Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to epsilon Sarcoglycan|
|Background||This gene encodes a member of the sarcoglycan family. Sarcoglycans are transmembrane components in the dystrophin-glycoprotein complex which help stabilize the muscle fiber membranes and link the muscle cytoskeleton to the extracellular matrix. Mutations in this gene have been associated with myoclonus-dystonia syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.|
|Synonyms||DYT11 antibody, ESG antibody, SGCE antibody, epsilon-SG antibody, epsilon-sarcoglycan antibody, "dystonia 11, myoclonic antibody", "sarcoglycan, epsilon antibody"|
|Cellular Localization||Cell membrane , sarcolemma; Single-pass membrane protein (Potential) , Cytoplasm , cytoskeleton |
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human epsilon Sarcoglycan. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Species Reactivity||Human, Mouse|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
