|Full Name||SIL1 homolog, endoplasmic reticulum chaperone (S. cerevisiae)|
|Product Description||Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to SIL1 (SIL1 homolog, endoplasmic reticulum chaperone (S. cerevisiae))|
|Background||This gene encodes a resident endoplasmic reticulum (ER), N-linked glycoprotein with an N-terminal ER targeting sequence, 2 putative N-glycosylation sites, and a C-terminal ER retention signal. This protein functions as a nucleotide exchange factor for another unfolded protein response protein. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Marinesco-Sjogren syndrome. Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been characterized. [provided by RefSeq]|
|Synonyms||BAP antibody, MSS antibody, ULG5 antibody, SIL1 antibody, nucleotide exchange factor SIL1 antibody, BiP-associated protein antibody, "SIL1 homolog, endoplasmic reticulum chaperone (S. cerevisiae) antibody"|
|Cellular Localization||Endoplasmic reticulum lumen |
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human SIL1. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Species Reactivity||Human, Rat|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
