|Product Description||Mouse Monoclonal antibody to Transgelin (transgelin)|
|Background||The protein encoded by this gene is a transformation and shape-change sensitive actin cross-linking/gelling protein found in fibroblasts and smooth muscle. Its expression is down-regulated in many cell lines, and this down-regulation may be an early and sensitive marker for the onset of transformation. A functional role of this protein is unclear. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]|
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human Transgelin. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
|Mouse, Rat, Pig, Chicken, Bovine|
|Predict Reactivity Note||Mouse (96%), Rat (96%), Pig (98%), Chicken (85%), Bovine (97%)|
