|Full Name||vasohibin 1|
|Product Description||Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to VASH1 (vasohibin 1)|
|Background||Angiogenesis inhibitor. Inhibits migration, proliferation and network formation by endothelial cells as well as angiogenesis. This inhibitory effect is selective to endothelial cells as it does not affect the migration of smooth muscle cells or fibroblasts. Does not affect the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro, but inhibits tumor growth and tumor angiogenesis. Acts in an autocrine manner. Inhibits artery neointimal formation and macrophage infiltration. Exhibits heparin-binding activity. |
|Synonyms||KIAA1036 antibody, VASH1 antibody, vasohibin-1 antibody, vasohibin 1 antibody|
|Cellular Localization||Secreted |
|Immunogen||Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human VASH1. The exact sequence is proprietary.|
|Predicted Cross Reactivity species Predicted cross-reactivity:|
Predicted cross-reactivity is based on sequence homology, with greater than 80% immunogen sequence identity considered positive.
Please note that we are only able to guarantee products to work in applications and species in which they have been tested.
