Background:
The affinity purified anti rabbit IgG reacts with rabbit immunoglobulins and the papain derived Fc and Fab fragments by ELISA, IEP and gel diffusion techniques. Recommended starting dilution for ELISA: 1/10,000 Recommended starting dilution for Blotting: 1/5000. Chickens were immunized with highly purified rabbit IgG isolated from normal pooled rabbit serum, in Freund's adjuvant. Eggs were collected, the IgY fraction prepared and the anti rabbit IgG immunoaffinity purified off a solid phase immunoabsorbant
