By IEP and gel diffusion analysis, the antibody reacts only with the Fc fragment of IgG. It does not react with kappa or lambda light chains. Goats were immunized with highly purified Human IgG-Fc fragment. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant serum was collected and solid phase absorbed to ensure class specificity.
