Affinity Purified Goat anti - Cat IgA
Background:
This antibody forms a single precipitin arc against IgA in normal Cat serum and a purified Cat IgA by immunoelectrophoresis. There is no reaction against purified Cat IgG or IgM.. Goats were immunized with Cat IgA. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant the Goats were bled and serum collected. The resulting antiserum was solid phase absorbed to ensure specificity. The antibodies were isolated using affinity chromatography.
