Affinity Purified Chicken anti-Human IgM
Application Note:
For ELISA (coating): Use at a concentration of 5 µg/ml. For WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 1.0 µg /ml. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Background:
The affinity purified antibodies react only with IgM by IEP and double immunodiffusion analysis. This product is suitable for use in ELISA and blotting applications.. Chickens were immunized with highly purified pooled normal human IgM. After immunizations with complete Freunds adjuvant the eggs were collected and an IgY fraction was prepared. The resulting fraction was solid phase absorbed to make it mu chain specific, immunoaffinity purified off an IgM immunoabsorbant
