Background:
The affinity purified anti lambda reacts with both bound and free lambda chains. It does not react with bound or free kappa chains by IEP and double diffusion analysis.. Goats were immunized with highly purified human lambda chains from normal IgG. Following immunization in Freund's adjuvant the goats were bled, serum collected and the antiserum absorbed with a kappa containing immunoabsorbant. The anti lambda was isolated from an IgG lambda affinity column
