Affinity Purified Chicken anti - Rabbit IgG h+l Absorbed Against Human and Mouse IgG
Background:
The affinity purified anti rabbit IgG reacts with rabbit immunoglobulins and the papain derived Fc and Fab fragments by IEP and gel diffusion techniques. There is no reaction with mouse or human serum. Chickens were immunized with highly purified rabbit IgG isolated from normal pooled rabbit serum, in Freund's adjuvant. Eggs were collected, the IgY fraction prepared and the anti rabbit IgG immunoaffinity purified off a solid phase immunoabsorbant. Anti Rabbit IgG was further absorbed against mouse and human IgG.
