Background:
This antibody reacts with all human immunoglobulin classes possessing lambda chains and free lambda light chains by IEP and gel diffusion techniques. It does not react with kappa chains.. Chickens were immunized with purified human lambda light chains. Eggs were collected, an IgY fraction was prepared and the anti-lambda wass affinity purified off an antigen containing immunoabsorbant.
