Background:
The anti IgG shows a precipitin arc against human IgG in serum and against both the Fab and Fc fragments of papain digested IgG using immunoelectrophoresis. There is no reaction with mouse, goat or rabbit serum.. Chickens were immunized with highly purified normal pooled human IgG in Freund's adjuvant and eggs were collected. The IgY fraction was prepared and the antibody immunoaffinity purified. Anti human IgG was further absorbed against mouse, goat and rabbit IgG
