Affinity Purified Chicken anti-Human IgE
Application Note:
For ELISA (capture): Use at a concentration of 2.0-5.0 µg/ml. For WB: Use at a concentration of 1.0-0.1 µg/ml. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher.
Background:
The anti IgE only reacts with IgE by ELISA, IEP and gel diffusion analysis. Serum known to be very low in IgE shows no reaction with the anti IgE. Chickens were immunized with a mixture of highly purified human IgE myeloma proteins in CFA. Serum and/or eggs were collected and serum or yolk derived IgG (IgY) fraction prepared. The resulting fluid was solid phase absorbed to make IgE epsilon chain specific and affinity purified off an antigen containing immunoabsorbant
Specificity:
This antibody only reacts with IgE by ELISA, IEP and gel diffusion analysis.
Tested Applications:
ELISA, Western blot. The usefulness of this product in other applications has not been determined.
