Application Note:
WB: 1/500. Detects a band of approximately 100 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 104 & 108 kDa). Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide: AVSKGDGMRGLAC, corresponding to amino acids 3 - 14 of Human AP2 alpha.
Specificity:
The immunogen sequence is found in both AP2A2 and AP2A1. This antibody recognises a band of just under 100kD in multiple human cell lines (see picture), the band can be blocked with the immunising peptide.
Cross Reactivity:
Cross-reacts with Human.Expected to cross-react with Mouse (100% identity with immunogen) due to sequence homology. Not yet tested in other species.
Tested Applications:
Western blot. The usefulness of this product in other applications has not been determined.
