Background:
RORA (retinoic acid receptor-related orphan receptor-alpha as identified by Becker-andre M (PMID:7916608). Which is a adenovirus-mediated overexpression nuclear orphan receptor, could inhibit the expression of VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 and translocation of p50 and p65 into nucleus in the endothelial cells. RORA has also been found involved in the control of cell growth, cell cycle progression, and differentiation through the modulation of cell cycle-related genes.
