Background
Integrin alpha X belongs to the beta 2 Integrin family. Integrin alpha X is the complement receptor type CR4. Integrin alpha X is constitutively present on granulocytes, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic reticular cells, NK cells and certain cytotoxic T cells. It is also strongly expressed on hairy cell leukemia cells.
