Background

The product of this gene is an essential upstream regulator of checkpoint kinase 1 and triggers a checkpoint arrest of the cell cycle in response to replicative stress or DNA damage. The protein is also required for efficient DNA replication during a normal S phase. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]

Mouse tissue extract (50 μg) was separated by 5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Claspin antibody (GTX129311) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
