Background

Cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans are composed of a membrane-associated protein core substituted with a variable number of heparan sulfate chains. Members of the glypican-related integral membrane proteoglycan family (GRIPS) contain a core protein anchored to the cytoplasmic membrane via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol linkage. Comparison

Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membranes were blotted with Glypican 1 antibody (GTX132672) diluted at 1:500 and competitor's antibody (sc-365000) diluted at 1:500. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
