Application Note

The biological activity of the recombinant human I-309 was determined by a chemotaxis assay using total human T cell population. Significant chemotaxis was achieved at a concentration range of 1-100 ng/ml.

Background

Human I-309 is a small glycoprotein secreted by activated T lymphocytes. It is structurally related to other CC chemokines. The recombinant human I-309 is an 8.5 kDa protein containing 74 amino acid residues.
