The rat IL-17 is fully biologically active when compared to standards via dose-dependent induction of IL-6 production in cultured mouse NIH 3T3 fibroblast. The ED50 for recombinant rat IL-17A in this assay was 30 ng/ml.
10 mM Sodium Citrate, pH 3.0
Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 μg/μl (Note: Gently pipetting to dissolve). The solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers. Stored at -20ºC for future use.
Purity was assessed by SDS-PAGE (≥95%) and by HPLC (≥95%).
For laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
