Background

Murine MIG (monokine induced by interferon gamma) is produced by microphages and other cells. It is a member of the alpha chemokine family (C-X-C) of cytokines. MIG acts as a chemoattractant toward monocytes, lymphocytes, and certain T cells. Murine MIG is an 12.2 kDa protein that consists of 105 amino acid residues.
