We recommend using the capture antibody at a concentration of 2.5μg/mL and the detection antibody at a concentration of 0.5μg/mL. Optimal dilutions should be determined experimentally by the researcher.
Store as concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), store at 4ºC. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20ºC or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
For laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the flavin monoamine oxidase family. It is a enzyme located in the mitochondrial outer membrane. It catalyzes the oxidative deamination of biogenic and xenobiotic amines and plays an important role in the metabolism of neuroactive and vasoactive amines in the central nervous sysytem and peripheral tissues. This protein preferentially degrades benzylamine and phenylethylamine. [provided by RefSeq]
ELISA detection of MAOB using GTX105970 for capture at a concentration of 2.5 µg/mL and GTX89368 for detection at a concentration of 0.5 µg/mL. The HRP-conjugated anti-goat IgG antibody (GTX26741) was diluted at 1:20,000-1:200,000 and used to detect the primary antibody.
