Background

Stromal Cell-Derived Factor-1alpha (SDF-1alpha ) is a recently discovered protein belonging to the alpha -chemokine (C-X-C) family of cytokines. Recombinant murine SDF-1alpha is a 7.9 kDa protein containing 68 amino acids residues.
