Storage

Reconstitute in PBS to a concentration of 1 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and store at 4ºC for 1 week or –20ºC for future use. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HAS or BSA).

Background

Tumor Necrosis Factor-beta (TNF-beta) is a potent lymphoid factor that exerts cytotoxic effects on a wide range of tumor cells and certain other target cells. Human TNF-beta is a 18.6 kDa protein containing 171 amino acid residues.
