APPLICATION

Application Note

The peptide is used for blocking the activity of anti-Daxx (GTX22017). Incubatingthe peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37ºC usually completely blocks theantibody activity in Western blotting.

Background

Daxx is a death domain containing important intermediate in the Fasmediatedapoptosis. It binds to death domain of Fas to enhance theapoptotic pathway and activate JNK pathway. It is widely expressed inhuman and mouse issue.
