Background

The protein encoded by this gene is a secreted chaperone that can under some stress conditions also be found in the cell cytosol. It has been suggested to be involved in several basic biological events such as cell death, tumor progression, and neurodegenerative disorders. Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Clusterin alpha antibody (GTX134435) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
