Background
This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the High Mobility Group-box superfamily. The encoded non-histone, nuclear DNA-binding protein regulates transcription, and is involved in organization of DNA. This protein plays a role in several cellular processes, including inflammation, cell differentiation and tumor cell migration. Multiple pseudogenes of this gene have been identified. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2015]

GTX637963 WB Image
Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with HMGB1 antibody [HL2059] (GTX637963) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.

Various tissue extracts (50 μg) were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with HMGB1 antibody [HL2059] (GTX637963) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.

GTX637963 ELISA Image
Indirect ELISA analysis was performed by coating the plate with recombinant HEK293 expressed, human HMGB1 protein (1000-15.63 ng/mL). Coated protein was probed with HMGB1 antibody [HL2059] (GTX637963) (1 μg/mL). Goat anti-rabbit IgG antibody (HRP) (GTX213110-01) (1:10000) was used to detect the bound primary antibody.
