Western blot – Use at 1:500 to 1:1,000 dilution. However, the investigator should determine the optimal dilution for a specific application such as immunohistochemistry.
Reacts with residues 26-36 [ERKRHDSERST] of the FKLF protein. Tested in human fetal liver tissue and the K562 erythroid cell line. Low levels of protein seen in other adult and fetal tissues or non-erythroid cell lines.

A novel Kruppel-type zinc finger protein, FKLF, that was cloned from globin-expressing human fetal erythroid cells. FKLF acts as a transcriptional activator of embryonic and fetal beta-globin genes.
