Climate Change

Climate change is described by the United Nations as long-term alterations in temperatures and weather patterns. While these changes can occur naturally from solar or volcanic activity, climate scientists have determined that human activity has been the predominant driver of global heating over the last 200 years. The consequences of increased greenhouse gas emissions are already being felt, and the impact on human health and civilization is predicted to become only more dire without immediate action.

Over the last several years, GeneTex has hosted the responsiblescientists.org website that seeks to draw attention to this evolving global threat. We were recently invited by the website's creators to host it indefinitely. As a company whose philosophy is to support biomedical science as a means to improve global health, GeneTex gratefully accepted.
