Background

The protein encoded by this gene has significant homology to NADH oxidoreductases and the apoptosis-inducing factor PDCD8/AIF. Overexpression of this gene has been shown to induce apoptosis. The expression of this gene is found to be induced by tumor suppressor protein p53 in colon caner cells. [provided by RefSeq]

DATA IMAGES

Anti-AMID antibody [N1], N-term used in Western Blot (WB). GTX108089

GTX108089 WB Image

Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with AMID antibody [N1], N-term (GTX108089) diluted at 1:1500. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
Multiple bands were observed 40 kDa, and 43 kDa. It is possibly due to alternative splicing.
