Arylsulfatase E is a member of the sulfatase family. It is glycosylated postranslationally and localized to the golgi apparatus. Sulfatases are essential for the correct composition of bone and cartilage matrix. X-linked chondrodysplasia punctata, a disease characterized by abnormalities in cartilage and bone development, has been linked to mutations in this gene. [provided by RefSeq]

Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with ARSE antibody [C2C3], C-term (GTX101335) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
