Background

The protein encoded by this gene plays a crucial role in B-cell development. Mutations in this gene cause X-linked agammaglobulinemia type 1, which is an immunodeficiency characterized by the failure to produce mature B lymphocytes, and associated with a failure of Ig heavy chain rearrangement. Untreated (–) and treated (+) Raji whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with BTK (phospho Tyr551) antibody (GTX133592) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
