IHC-Fr
Spleens were snap frozen and stored at -80ºC until cryosections were cut. Sections (5 μm) were fixed for 4 min in ice-cold acetone. Sections were blocked with 2% BSA, 2% FCS, and PBS.

ELISA
Plates were coated overnight with rat anti-murine C4 mAb 16D2 in carbonate buffer and blocked with 5% dry milk in PBS and 0.01% Tween 20.
Not tested in other applications.
