This gene belongs to the chemokine-like factor gene superfamily, a novel family that is similar to the chemokine and transmembrane 4 superfamilies. This gene is one of several chemokine-like factor genes located in a cluster on chromosome 3. This gene is widely expressed in many tissues, but the exact function of the encoded protein is unknown. Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with CMTM6 antibody [C1C3] (GTX108450) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.

CMTM6 antibody [C1C3] detects CMTM6 protein at cell membrane by immunofluorescent analysis.
Sample: A431 cells were fixed in ice-cold MeOH for 5 min.
Green: CMTM6 stained by CMTM6 antibody [C1C3] (GTX108450) diluted at 1:500.
Red: alpha Tubulin, a cytoskeleton marker, stained by alpha Tubulin antibody [GT114] (GTX628802) diluted at 1:1000.
Blue: Fluoroshield with DAPI (GTX30920).
