Application Dilution
WB 1:1000-1:10000

Note :

WB
As is commonly seen with membrane proteins, significant hydrophobicity can lead to aggregation following boiling of samples prior to SDS-PAGE and subsequent western blotting. We recommend to avoid boiling in this case.

Not tested in other applications.

Calculated MW

40 kDa. ( Note )

Positive Control

unboiled CX3CR1-transfected 293T

Background

Fractalkine is a transmembrane protein and chemokine involved in the adhesion and migration of leukocytes. The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for fractalkine. The encoded protein also is a coreceptor for HIV-1, and some variations in this gene lead to increased susceptibility to HIV-1 infection and rapid progression to AIDS. Four transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]

GTX132714 WB Image

Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) unboiled 293T whole cell extracts (30 µg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with CX3CR1 antibody (GTX132714) diluted at 1:5000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.
