APPLICATION

Application Note

We recommend the following starting dilutions: For WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/ml. For ELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/ml. For IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 1.0 μg/ml. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. For Neutralization: one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Human IP-10 (100.0 ng/ml), a concentration of 5.0 – 8.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. Optimal dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user.

Background

This gene encodes a chemokine of the CXC subfamily and ligand for the receptor CXCR3. Binding of this protein to CXCR3 results in pleiotropic effects, including stimulation of monocytes, natural killer and T-cell migration, and modulation of adhesion molecule expression. GTX31176 IHC-P Image

IHC-P analysis of human carcinoid tissue using IP10 antibody at a concentration of 1.0 μg/ml. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended.

GTX31176 ELISA Image

Sandwich To detect hIP-10 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody- which is biotinylated (GTX31176) allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hIP-10.
