Application Note

Recommended Starting Dilutions: For WB: Use at a concenration of 0.1- 0.2 μg/ml. For IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 1.0 –2.0 μg/ml. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. For ELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/ml. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Background

The protein encoded by this gene is an inflammatory chemokine that belongs to the CXC chemokine family. This chemokine is produced concomitantly with interleukin-8 (IL8) in response to stimulation with either interleukin-1 (IL1) or tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFA). This chemokine is a potent chemotaxin involved in neutrophil activation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
