CATD (heavy chain,Cleaved-Leu169) Antibody detects endogenous levels of fragment of activated CATD resulting from cleavage adjacent to Leu169.
Phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Store as concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), store at 4ºC. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20ºC or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human CATD.
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
For laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
Identified by mass spectrometry in melanosome fractions from stage I to stage IV.
Acid protease active in intracellular protein breakdown. Involved in the pathogenesis of several diseases such as breast cancer and possibly Alzheimer disease.
Western blot analysis of extracts from 293/A549/JurKat cells, treated with etoposide 25uM 1h, using CATD (heavy chain,Cleaved-Leu169) Antibody. The lane on the right is treated with the synthesized peptide.
