Background

This gene encodes the D1 subtype of the dopamine receptor. The D1 subtype is the most abundant dopamine receptor in the central nervous system. This G-protein coupled receptor stimulates adenylyl cyclase and activates cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinases. D1 receptors regulate neuronal growth and development, mediate some behavioral responses, and modulate dopamine receptor D2-mediated events. Alternate transcription initiation sites result in two transcript variants of this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

GTX639344 WB Image

Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) unboiled 293T whole cell extracts were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Dopamine Receptor D1 antibody [HL2680] (GTX639344) diluted at 1:5000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.

GTX639344 WB Image

Boiled and unboiled SH-SY5Y whole cell and membrane extracts (30 μg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Dopamine Receptor D1 antibody [HL2680] (GTX639344) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced.
