This antibody recognizes the recombinant human ERAB protein (27kDa) and the endogenous ERAB protein in cell extracts in immunoblots and ELISA assays, with virtually no crossreactivity with other human proteins.

ERAB (Endoplasmic Reticulum beta Amyloid Binding Protein) has been associated with beta Amyloid neurotoxicity. ERAB is an intracellular 27 kDa polypeptide which appears to be upregulated in the brains of Alzheimer’s Disease patients.
